
On 4th Mangsir, KMC Lalitpur organized an inspiring Model Parliamentary Assembly (MPA) training session for students from its Lalitpur and Bagbazar campuses. This event was a significant initiative aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of governance, leadership, and civic responsibilities.
Event Highlights
The session was graced by Advocate Om Prakash Aryal, the Legal Advisor of Mahanagar Palika Kathmandu, who served as the guest speaker. Advocate Aryal shared his expertise on parliamentary processes and the legal framework, providing students with real-world insights into governance and the roles of leaders in society.
The training was facilitated by two dynamic trainers, Anugya Ojha and Satya Raj Karki, who conducted engaging and interactive sessions. Their approach combined theoretical concepts with practical exercises, enabling students to experience a simulated parliamentary environment. The presence and support of KMC alumnus Chetan Jethara added further value to the event, as he guided students with his firsthand experiences and insights.
Objectives of the Training
The primary goal of the MPA training was to:
